Midweek golf always breaks up a dull week!

Hey guys can not find Stonebridge address on google maps nor the website. Anyone got an addy?

Google mapped hunter valley from Katoomba, nice 3 hour drive gee I must love this game.

Hey TeeBull, It’s the old ‘Oaks’ at Cessnock but has been revised by Jack Newton. Just google stonebridge gc, it will come up. Don’t know about maps or whether it has been listed for GPS download as yet.

3 hrs for you, about the same if not a little longer for the south coast guys. Us Sydney fellas will be around the 2 to 2.5 hr mark.

Don’t worry, we only go that far once a year, at least we travel up, unlike some that won’t travel down…

The idea is,,
Game 1 Newcastle
Game 2 Central Coast
Game 3 Sydney
Game 4 South Coast
Hence the name NCCSSC.

The finale is held every year where it all began.. ‘The Springs at Peats Ridge’.

The White Belt Trophy (WBT) it has never returned to its spiritual home where it was born in the Shed Of Invenations (SOI).
So if you are from the Newcastle area and win the WBT you will be held in higher asteem than Clive Churchill in the Newcastle area.
But if you are not from Newcastle area just enjoy the day.

How do the prizes work and what do people put up?

TB – The WBT (White Belt Trophy) together with the ‘Seve Scrambler Award’ are returned and awarded at each event.

The Nutty Professor’ AKA Blacksnake is the master of all things created in the fantabulous ‘Shed Of Inventions’ which become 2 NTP prizes each event. (Together with a $2 put in for the 2 nominated holes)

L4G as the most consistent big hitter in the team (obviously Dangles & Davepuppies will dispute this) generally puts on the Longest Drive, then never wins it or forgets to bring the prize.

Peppas donates all things mystical for the ’ Most Trees Hit’ or Most Wipes in a round or some other innane thing in the hope of winning it himself. Generally wins the WBT instead. He is the current COC after all.

I do a Mystery 9 in the knowledge that I am safe from winning it myself, although with the planned twist from here on in, that could change.

Some of the other guys will do a novelty prize on occasions or add an additional NTP or drive and chip hole.

In the end it comes down to you. If you desire to donate something useful, or in the case of most things awarded at our days, they have a use, but finding it is the fun part, nominate what you wish and post it up

Since when is the donation useful or for that matter have a use!

I won my own prize at Mt Broughton when I was trying to get rid of a broken toaster :(

The Terry Wogan Golden Putter for the longest putt.

Did a search on longest and he has the longest televised putt @ 33 yards (30.175m)

Couldn’t believe it when Michael Phelps you tube putt came up as the longest ever at 50 yards (45.720m) however not recognised as the longest as it was not putted from the green, a chip the call it.

What do you guys think, does Wogan get the coverted title?

Back to the TWGP – Can be on any hole within any group and must be made from the green with a putter. Putter is to be returned and awarded at each event.

I think i am more likley to get a Seve Scrambler Award..or Peppas ‘Most trees hit’....
