Been reading the forums for awhile but haven’t posted before
I was just wondering about joining you guys, what is level of play. I love golf but and fairly terrible :)
I generally shoot in the mid to high 90’s would these sorts of scores just annoy everyone or is it a really social day out?

Hopeless golf tragic

Mate, Welcome … The golf is just part of it. We are more about getting out there and having fun, sure we play golf, but we have lots of fun too. You’re more than welcome to come out for a game. None of us knew each other before these games. Don’t worry if you don’t have a h/c we can give you a pony one for the games.

We do have a $5 comp fee that goes to prizes and a ball run down each month.

I think I. Just round the corner from you as I live only about 10 min from gailes but have never played there

Ill have to try and come out soon:)

I’d certainly be keen for a rnd at some stage. I’m not very good but have slowly moved down to a 24hc with the limited golf I can play (2 young kids). Do we just make some contact prior to the events? Do you just play stableford using existing Hc? Do the cards go toward golflink Hc?
Also, I often play as a single visitor in comps at redcliffe and Wantima so it would be good to hopefully meet some people

Yes just add your name to the lists we have for the game and you’re away. If we can we try and get into a golflink comp but other wise we just run a little comp for the trophy each month, but most guys are up for a little side bet. it adds to the fun

A lot of us organise games off site as well getting out to the other guys clubs for open comps. We have a Few guys from Wantima, Gailes plus a guys from the G.C in the group. Flick me a email if you would like to know anything else.
