The biggest problem with SL is if the wind gets up. Anyone over a handicap of 14 or so will start trying to hit harder and will just find the rough more. I’ve seen it enough. I’ve seen pros do it. And it makes the course frigging long if you keep doing it. I havent played it for 5 years though so maybe they cut the rough. But you never used to be able to get home in 2 if you missed the generous fairways. …..

Perhaps its the undulating greens, but i found that you need to club up (or two) if there is any wind. Happy to point out where you shouldn’t hit them bully04, cos i think i hit all of those spots… Golf is all about the long game….

Golf is all about the long game…. fb and inoski apologies guys that i wasnt able to join you guys yesterday, as i was looking forward to it.however as i stated i had pennant duties…yes i won my pennent 5 and 4 I was fortunate enough a couple of weeks ago to see what this course is like.. ya spot on if the wind gets up it could be a struggle

If I was in your group I would have played the course for sure and i could have told you all the details of the design and the intentions of the course designer, you know what he wanted us all to think, and then made some comment on the condition of it and what it may be like when all the iseek boys arrive.
