Well i always do crap on 12, 16 and 8 are pretty good to me most of the time 4 can go either way depends on my chipping and putting most of the time as i am mainly on the right hand side of the green for 3 because i avoid the bunkers on the left . see you tomorrow mate and good luck for the (Hawthorn v Essendon) battle.

Full credit to mick for putting up a decent fight. Some highlights of the round:
1st hole IM hits thins his 4th from 50 out one bounce hits the flag comes to rest 6 foot. Holes the put for a win.
4th) 100m par 3 IM has 2 shots and makes birdie. Even a hole in one would have lost the hole.
13) Dj has 10 foot for eagle. Nice way to win a hole.
16) 150m par 3 IM is dormice but has 2 shots on the hole. Dj makes 2 to slam the door.

Tough ask giving 9 away, especially on a wide open course like Ballarat, when I’m used to tight Forest Resort.

We both played pretty well, both had our good and bad shots. You are very consistent though, which is what I would like to work toward.

I hit the driver (Yes, I bought a driver!!!) pretty well. I actually bought it on Friday, and had many hits in the shop with it, and it felt gooood. So to hit it nicely on the course today was excellent. Its been a long time coming.

I need to brush up on some rules…...but I have done some searching, and it appears that me playing out of turn is not a loss of hole, but I should have replayed it as close to the original spot. (Rule 10-1.c). Which is what I could have done on the 17th with your tee shot, as we halved the 16th, but I had the honour on the previous hole.

Awesome putt for birdie on the 16th too by the way. Downhiller, some break, in all the way.

Yesterdays game was the first game I’ve played relatively pain free since June last year, thanks to a couple of needles in the shoulders over the last two weeks. It felt good to swing without pain.
