Match 8 Goldenone v CB80 (Legends course)(black tees) (28th December 11.30am)
Goldy in good form and CB80 struggling.
Goldy could cause upset here as CB has to give 12 shots on this long courses and neither has played before thats too many to peg back but CB 80 fights hard and doesn’t loose many match play games.
Prediction: its a toss up but Goldy to cause an upset

Match 1 GPJ_Longdriver (8) v Ari (14)– Waterford Valley – Jan 3rd

This should be a must see match with OOM champion against hills specialist in GPJ.
good venue Ari won C grade here in OOM 1 this year.
Prediction: GPJ just by experience (5 shots not a lot to give).

Hmmmm …...... 5 shots hey ….... I thought 14-8 = 6.

Either way, he’s bloody bandit that Ari …. playin of 14 given his form over the last few months.

Good thing is though, that we’ll have both Stinky and Lefty on hand to keep us amused and entertained …..... so it should be a good fun round, whatever the results.

Looking forward to this one, and in getting a chance to see Ari’s rapidly improving game up close.

Ari will go down harder than me on this day, form like that doesn’t last and will collapse against the psychological might of GPJ.

I will smash lefty, for the first 7 holes, then the usual collapse will occur to me as my mind turns to jelly and my ball starts curving OOB left.

It will however be an entertaining day, eggs and beans for breakfast to ensure plenty of expressive descriptions of the lines for putts, I know Lefty likes help with that.

Shall we all have a little side bet? Not sure how in matchplay? Can you do skins at the same time? Deffo a few NTP’s and a LD to make it even more entertaining.
