If you put 2 hyphens in the same post the words between any 2 Hyphens will get the crossed out effect.

we are playing Sunshine in OOM 5 in November why would we play it in the National day ???

we are going to select two course on same complex or two close together ,with good access
courses which are unique or special to play.

good accomidation for large groups

can get us on with minimum fuss on sunday and monday.

and not charge us a fortune to do this.

these criteria alone eliminate lots of courses.

With accomodation I think ISGer’s should suss this out for themselves, if you make arrangements and people cancel or pull out at last minute this puts egg on your face and won’t sit well with Melbourne golf community for future events.
It’s also too much work for you guys to organise.
Accomodation is about keeping the wife and fam happy some people will want 5 star, some will want a caravan park. You guys can’t cater for every one. Let the ISG’ers find their own places to stay.
You guys should just focus on finding a good golf courses to play.

You guys are focused on the price which is irrelevant. What would some one pay for the time of their life? They would pay anything.

Why not just bite the bullet make a decision on what courses to play . Set the prices to play in the ISG event and put on a great show and great dinner.
Even if it is $400 people will come if your playing good golf courses, going to have a great dinner and good prizes.

Commish had a great time last year he is already coming he never asked how much the cost is.

My 2cents decide now on some courses so you can put up the costs to play, so people can start saving up their pennies to come to the event, and organise accomodation, put in leave for work. Start working on the wife they need a holiday in Victoria.

LongIsland has offered a Sunday in late October or any day Monday in October. Our club championships are early October so the course will be A1 condition. Also first week of Novemeber is our Pro-am so the course will be keep in mint condition in October.

But it looks as though we’ll all be heading down the peninsula. Madam should have the details to announce around the end of next week. Also, some side events for those who want a longer stay.

Just be patient and all will be revealed.
