Not sure about the “old flags for trousers” Muzz.

I was thinking I’d turn up in something a little more appropriate for the day’s event …. possibly the outfit below.

Update time from Beacy ….... and following on from some rather heavy rain on Sunday, I can report that the course itself is in ............. “Morvellous” condition.

Its firm under foot, and the greens are “forst and tru” ... and will offer the good players something.

For flag powsitions up the front ….......... drop them just short of the green, and they will bounce on and then trickle forwerd gently.

For pin positions at the back, drop the approach shots mid green at the most …. and expect the ball to go another metre or twoooo orfter landeng.

There’s also currently, plenty of run on the fairways, so expect some long drives to be struck on the day gents.

I should probably warn you Muzz . that on Sunday, Jimmy The Goose Whisperer decided to pull the pin after 9 holes …....... so the Geese who he usually hand feeds, on or around the 14th hole ….... went hungry this weekend.
