Waff …... If the ISG brethren are going to travel for any game of golf in Oz …... that’s where I figure it would have to be.

And surely if we could get some decent numbers for the event, we could get a good deal on both Vortex flights and accom …....... and make it an ISG boys weekend away.

Given the cost involved probably (many hunge) I’d suggest giving plenty of lead time for those who need to save for it.

That would work out well too, in that no-one would want to go all that way and end up playing in a freezing cold winter …. so perhaps late spring next year.

You would toss in Lost Farm as well …. which apparently is right next door.

Oh, by the way Waff …....... Barnbougle is in Tassie …..... no doubt you’ve studied that map before!!!

Great Idea, i would be in, and would prefer to be able to get there with only 1 type of transport, is Vortex National GPJ ? and warm needs to be warm central .. just a thought..

Dubbo could be OK if they get enough rain prior to the day and is about as central to Melbourne,Sydney, Brisbane Adelaide without going too far west to say Broken Hill.

Dubbo has an airport, services from Sydney.

Actually Orange might be better course and the airport also has flights from Sydney

I would fly Vortex direct to BBD ex. Moorabbin if anyone wants to share the charter?

I believe if we were to do something along these lines it would have to be a yearly event thats rotated between mel,syd and GC or brisbane so that transport costs dont blow out by going to these distant regional places like dubbo.

Also another idea in terms of cost would be to include everything in the price ,i mean everything from flights to dinners golf and grog.
every 6 months or so i go away for a long weekend with about 30 guys up to the gld coast costs about a grand but you dont have to pull you wallet out for anything,unless you go to cavill ave ;)
