I read in the paper the other day that Belmont GC, near Newcastle has a 9 hole comp on fridays. The comp only cost $16 and is played on either 9. Following this, you are able to play the remainder of the course for free. Not a bad deal considering its about $27 for a visitors comp and around $30 for a social round i think. Following the Black Tee day, we should organise something for a social hit.

Yeh it was a little windy and wet. Golf was pretty good though. Had slow start, but found my swing on back 9. I must admit, the weather has not been kind to me lately when organising golf days.

How did we play?? didnt hit any balls into the dunes i hope!

I had a pretty ordinary front 9, just couldnt hit approach shots well for some reason. The chook run was on the back 9 and i played better there. Had 18 points with a few easy 3 putts. Pretty happy considering the wind and rain.
