Perth: Fairly regular weekend games

Hi all

If anyone is interested. Almost every Saturday, some Sundays and also some weekdays (I get some RDO days off work). I book 18 holes for 4 people for around 12pm. 12pm because I would really prefer not to get up early on weekends if possible and a 12 pm booking will make sure there is enough sunlight to finish a round taking delays into account. I play with some friends and we are fairly new players. Its very social, scores around the 120s but we also like to meet new people and improve our game. Usually there will be 1 or 2 sometimes 3 spots available. I can only book Saturday games on Wednesdays and Sunday games on Thursdays. I will post on here on Wednesday and Thursday nights with available number of spots, venues and times for anyone who would like to play. You are under no obligation to commit to regular games. Could possibly expand to booking 2 groups of 4 if there are enough interest.

Thanks
Alan

Hey mate, what courses do you play?

North and South metro usually so we don't have to drive too far. Hamersly, Wembley, Maylands, Whaleback, Burswood, Glen Iris, Collier Park. At the moment an overseas golfing friend is in Perth working on a few months contract job. So we will probably do the Mandurah courses (Secret Harbour, Meadow Springs, Kennedy Bay, etc), Sun City, Joondalup and the Vines during his time here in Perth.

Sounds good mate, might have to get in touch. Do you use MSN? I'm usually on during business hours if you wanted to have a chat, nickgaskin@hotmail.com

Hi all

Thanks for the responses. I will be busy this weekend and next weekend attending weddings. Such interuptions! Just after I score my best score of 110 at Wembley old last Sunday too. laugh.gif

Therefore I can only start this from the first weekend of June. Which also happen to be a long weekend. Well...watch this space I guess.

Thanks
Alan

Sounds good to me

Has anyone been getting into this yet? I’m keen to play as I’m running out playing partners as most of them seems to always have something on. It would be nice to meet up with others in Perth to play weekend games mostly in the southern suburbs.

I’m also interested, but can only play on sundays tho..my email is xyanli2006@gmail.com

The Perth Iseekers don’t get together much. Maybe worth trying to catch up in the summer months for 9 or 18 periodically.

Some weekends are fine and after work during the week is also good.

Daylight savings makes it a little easier so if anyone wants to play central (say Maylands) or south (say Whaleback) let me know at pkd@iinet.net.au.

Is anyone around the Perth area still playing? I’ve finally managed to find time to get back onto the course after about an 18 month break. I’m hacking around at about a 20 handicap again so I’m not the best playing partner at the moment but if anyone’s interested in a game (preferably south of the river) then I’d be more than happy to join you for a round.

I work in the mining industry and with a 9/5 roster and my previous playing partners working different fly-in/fly-out rosters it’s becoming difficult to align our days off in Perth.

Hi Tendril

Drop me an email on pkd@iinet.net.au and we may be able to arrange something.

Cheers

Peter

Be back in Perth next week and will probably work in something with fltsim13.
