I dunno..The mentals at Rock Arena and Radiotors at The Playroom were always tuff to beat...although maybe the alcohol had some bearing on my jusdement !!

The Party Boys at the Roxy was pretty special too

I heard that one of the shows was Goat Island in the early 80's ?? - I remember this being shown on rage/beatbox etc- is this the same one - ?? - what is the other one?

the other one is at the Capitol theatre in sydney in 1982 8)

the Goat Island show was to help celebrate the Triple J anniversary in 1985 biggrin.gif

sounds good - how much ? - still have my limited edition Armistice Day T shirt that came with the album in 1981/82 - mmmm what would it be worth on ebay?!

Must have seen 'em a dozen times at the old Pier Rock (with 3-5 thousand other screaming drunks smile.gif smile.gif )
I've gotta get that DVD for the memories 8)

The show at the Capitol was part of a full week of shows there launching the "10,9,8..." album and I was lucky enough to attend two nights including the one on the DVD.

I still get goosebumps when I think of the full on burst of white lights as the chorus of Lucky Country starts.

The support act was a string quartet called the Palm Court Orchestra (from memory).

The show started in darkness with the throbbing synthesiser of Outside World. Fantastic atmosphere. Brings back a load of memories for sure.

cool
