I was thinking this thread could help us set up golf trips if we let everyone know where we are. Myself, I’m near Bunbury, WA. I’m from Qld and get back there every two to three years and I think I’ll be hunting down partners when I come over.

I’m coming over in may.

That is a shame as I will be living in Sydney from May til Sep but…...May is coming back into the wet season. It will be about 35 degrees most days and pretty humid, about 80%, and it will probably piss down every afternoon at about 3pm but only for 20 min then it will be fine again. My advice is to play early like about 7am. You avoid the heat and the crowds. Many courses allow 5 balls and they are quite often novices who take 6 hours for a round to shoot 120.

Gidday Jack, Im jumping over to Phuket in a weeks time (March 13)- My father is already over there staying at Kata Noi Beach. What course are you a member at, or do you just play? Also- You wouldnt happen to play at Phuket Country Club with a whole heap of Expats on a Thursday?

Only played with them once but probably will again. I live on Loch Palm Golf Course but am just a local member, which sadly does not involve guest priviledges. I will private message you my private email so we can get a game going. It won’t let me so you send me one instead.

Hi Warren, Did you ave your house renovated? I am pretty sure I did a lot of work there when I was an apprentice for Bob. It seems it would be too much of a coincidence that there would be another Warren from Ipswich that lives in the Solomon Islands. Anyways all… I am from Ipswich aswell

I am in Perth were the weather is perfect for golf for 10 months of the year ( July and August a bit wet ). Hi Racinfarmer Park City is a great old western style small town ,half way up the rockies. There is good golfing and sking to be found near by. I worked for a couple of months in Ogden just above Salt lake city at the Kimberly Clarke plant. Being 4,000+ feet above sea level sure makes the ball go further.
