What Car Do You Drive?

I think his is a personality type question, you can tell a bit about people from what they drive. Myself, my baby is an ‘03 BA XR8 with a few factory mods, aftermarket exhaust and a little lowering.

I drive a totally unmodified Toyota Camry that I keep in perfect roadworthy order. My advice is to only buy a car that will get you from A to B in relative comfort and safety. Invest the rest of the money, and in 40 years you will have nice nest egg, whereas all you’ll have of a car is memories. And you’ll get picked up less by the police. :-)

2001 Ford AU Series II XR8 – manual, full Tickford kit, mods, suspension, etc and Pioneer sound with boot loaded CD system (which I must admit I have never used!). I have my golf club plates on the car and most of our local constabulary must be golfers, as I’ve been guilty of exceeding the speed limit marginally on occasions, seen by them but never stopped, touch wood. Cheers

You should like the new Ford coming out soon then…they’ll just about be identical from the pics I’ve seen.

I’ve had the same older mercedes 190E for seven years and I’m just going to drive her until she dies. I considered buying one of the newer 500SL’s early last year but in the end I couldn’t justify it to myself.

I drive whichever one I can car-jack with my fully auto assult rifle with armor piercing bullets.

Yes I have checked them out. They meet on Saturdays and most of their events have clashed with golf – guess what I chose to attend? 8) This is the dealer picture, I have cleaned up the stone chips but otherwise pretty much as I got it. Cheers

Wish we had fun daily driver cars like Brett’s in the USA…

Mate there’s dozens of cars in your zone I’d swap for without even blinking my eyes!

I do hope you bring that down when you come to play Bunbury.
|
|
Definitely will, maybe even this weekend if I can swing things.
|

That would be as much fun as driving the snowmobiles, I just drive a dirty old Toyota Hilux ute but it gets me from a to b cheaply so thats ok.
A bad day on the golf course is better than no golf at all.
