Best 19th hole

Sometimes a lasting memory of a day on a course includes the 19th hole. It may be picturesque or be quircky. Two that spring to mind are Broome and Burswood (on the Swan River in Perth). Broome has fantastic views over Roebuck Bay. Another memory of Broome is the local criminals with their tattoos popping out of the bush to say hello, as they maintain the cousre as part of their work duties. At Burswood you sit on the patio having a beer overlooking Perth skyline across the Swan River. Unbelievable facilities for a Public Access course. Another is Araluen overlooking the Valley and watching the kangaroos grazing on the hillside. where else?

The clubhouse at Mareeba overlooks their golf course, especially the 9th & 18th hole, it is fantastic sitting up on the balcony having a few beers watching all the golfers come in.

Narooma.
