they have gone! which is a tragedy because there is quite a bit of wisdom amongst that lot.

i know i don’t frequent the joint that much anymore.

In what can only be described as a great shame, they have taken their bat, clubs, ball, course reviews, wit, humour and mild addiction to softcore pornography elsewhere. Who knows if they’ll return, but it’s unlikely while this place is in its present state.

I have noticed that Judge still pops in sometimes, he did mention in a post he had to put down his firewalls, to get to this site, maybe that is annoying him.

Maybe they could no longer access the site with half the alias these guys had . Ben has had a direction change i think and no longer operates the shop?

As for the rest of them you could hear one opinion and hear the same thing said 10 different way’s by the others.

and unless you conformed to their opinion you very rarely were engaged in serious dialogue.

Aside from the fact I’ve been really busy, after a bit of the ‘fun’ has gone from this site, I’ve been posting a little less.

I really hope this forum returns to it’s former glory as I’ve really enjoyed using it for a long time (ala the 7K in posts)

Nah never wanted to be in it . Just you have confirmed it existed as more than a few have thought .

Those guys mentioned posted a heap of crap, but also a lot of gems in between. Where have they gone??

And yet admin has constantly said these things are being fixed. Some of these people need to wake up and see a much bigger picture iseekgolf is a lot more than just a forum. And its only going to get bigger.

Yep we are getting there. All we can do is work as hard as possible to add these features and that’s we are doing.

I understand the logic behind all the changes. My only suggestion as far as the Forum goes is that all the additions that people have been talking about probably should have been added/fixed prior to launching it.

From my perspective, the forum vibe has changed completely – and it could prove difficult to get back. It’s just not as simple as before.

No more fighting, swearing, course reviews, attacks on new posters, stupid threads on who has the best rack, ISG challengers or golf days…..

Thanks judge we shall see :) The “new kid on the block” forum has been around just over 4 years now – it didn’t work over the past 4 years and more than likely won’t now. More the merrier – in the end we’ll be back to where we were in a month or two.

Judge, You are correct about “the new kid on the block” going well. It seems many have deserted ISG and thats where they have gone. At least you and I are still here! :-)

The ‘new kid on the block’ has only been going for one month. It already has 100+ members and over 3000 posts. Not a bad start. People haven’t migrated there because of the lack of PM’s, etc. They moved because they were treated like 2nd class citizens.

Yes, chestnuts, ISG is more than just the forum, but that is the problem. The forum has paid the price for being part of a bigger entity and has lost its’ heart and soul as a result.

This place will improve and grow but it is severely haemorrhaging at the moment and the other site is currently a much happier place to be.

Yes it may have lost some people but there are 999,000 more golfers in oz i am sure 1 to 200 more will step up and grow isg back to where it was.
