Yep. You could tell that even after that silly fat bloke told the reporter that he was done pouring money into it, he was going to throw more money down the drain. As silly as those crazy Bangers pulling the boats apart.

Just the annual story that happens every year, Victorians get sucked in too ;-) http://www.theregister.co.u... I have a Nigerian freind living in Oz for the last year or so, highly educated, and he had never heard of these Nigerian advance fee scams. Of course he knows that Nigerians are quite 'resourceful' but it does indicate that within Nigeria this kind of scam does not appear well known - which i thought was interesting. Apparently scams represents a major % of their GDP.

I saw a little bit of this, it simpy amazes me that anyone would even entertain responding to one of these emails yet it astounds me at how much they make! I had some Nigerian Woman wanting to come and live with me, all I had to do was send her the money for her airfare, I managed to get as many naked photos of her as possible and even got her to call me once (probably the bloke scamming me's sister) and then told her I wasnt interested. The photo's were good though...

no, not sure what planet even after I sat here with him and googled up every scam possible (in my mind ? proving to him he was scammed) he said "but I think I will send them one more lot of cash, just to be sure !" He had already sent 12k, luckily for him he asked for an advance for more and we said no !
Unfortunately some people are so desperate they simply can't
see good from bad
