Has anyone had to do this in the past? If so, did you get someone in to do it or go the DIY route? Interested in some opinions on whether it’s cost effective to try and sort it out myself or if it’s better to just get a professional.

ask the people who blow it in….surely they have reverse on their machine….
Consultancy….if you’re not part of the solution, there’s big bucks to be made prolonging the problem. |

Never tried it but if I did, I would take some roof sheets off and do it that way. If its tiled….it’d be a nightmare. Remember turn your main switch off first before getting into the roof space, it’s not worth the risk of getting a shock.

Would think a Large commercial vac would do the job. Most hire places would have at least one. Might take a while though.

Yeah i’m not asking whether it’s possible to get someone in to do it… I’m wondering if anyone has bothered doing it themsevles.. Quotes to get someone in to do it range wildly… I’ve seen upwards of $4000 and seen some others around the $2,000 mark.
