WE need a new hot water sytstem - what to get??

2 adults 2 kids aged 6 and 7

we had a solar system – it died and and the cost to replace is about 3500

there is these heat pump systems (quantum systems) the heat from air intake like a reverse air con system

then there is gas – well we dont jabe mains gas but some systems use gas bottles also??? know nothing about them

we could replace solar system with another one but not sure if thats wise as I think we will sell house in 3 years

If you don’t have town gas, bottled gas is too expensive.
Isn’t the solar system just a boost for gas/electric h/w? What’s broken the basic h/w system or the solar add-on?

tank had a leak…1000 to replace that and one panel was stuffed

so yeas we need an electric booster to boost it in winter

googles tonight and found thwere are seveal different type of pump systems as they call them

all around 3500 bucks…ouchy!!!
