calculating temperature

Today was supposed to be 37degrees locally and it was in the shade, when we put the thermometer in the sun it was 48 degrees, that was with a slight breeze. The question is what was our temp and how do they determine what it is? if I was playing today thinking it was 37 I would have been in strife, the difference of being exposed to 48 instead of 37 is massive and potentially life threatening.
I will break 90 this year. It is NOT my age. It is NOT for 9 Once again I am the reserve moderator ( officially unofficial ) after stink if he decides to come back. |

That’s ok if You are in the shade, when you play golf like me you rarely see any shade. :)
