Some say Tony Abbott walks like a Gorilla…
Too much slow play means that golf has a wait problem |

What ridiculous things people will write in order to denigrate others. Who wrote the words you quoted and what do you think they revealed about themselves?
Truth is important even if it hurts sometimes |
|
Take it easy Forest. The OP was written in a light hearted manner. Good old Tony does have an intrtesting gait. Perhaps the budgie smugglers give him jock itch.

What OP?

I tend to agree with Forest. OP is pointless garbage. Suppose it got a few responses but Geez if that is the best you can come up with ,Get a Life….
|
|
Yep…reads like it came from a katty person.
Totally ignorant about almost everything except golf. |
|
I just worry that if Abbott were to become PM later this year, and he is pictured with world leaders, it will look like a world leader and a wrestler… This is nothing to do with politics, or ideology… the visuals are not good… imagine Obama and Abbott… Obama and Turnbull is a different thing…. but of course Abbott won the last liberal spill by ONE vote…

Sadly for Australian politics too many people adopt a “perception” of a politician based on some trivial mannerism and then say….”oohh….I wouldn’t vote for HIM…I just don’t like him”. Peter Costello could well have been Prime Minister but too many people hated his “smirk”. Now people are targetting Abbots walk, saying it’s ungainly, not nice, gorilla like…...FFS!!!!! Pathetic!!!
Consultancy….if you’re not part of the solution, there’s big bucks to be made prolonging the problem. |
|
Gorilla like! The mind boggles.
Control is doing the shortest possible stroke to make the shot. |

At least at a meeting of world leaders, the Monk should be able to remain upright http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Gee im no fan of the monk, but you really think ole Jules is photogenic? What about her portrayal of an Australian?
Got nothing. |
|
I think the responses show who votes for who. However I agree with the OP, he has got a funny walk
|
|
fixed for nix
Got nothing. |

I’m not into politics…why? well ask yourself this question how much of your life has been dictated by who is in governemnt most pollies try to do the right thing by their citizens (we are not in north korea) so I think shots at people like Abott are unwarnated and a waste of breath
Golf is only a game…Yeah right who are you kidding? |

Ive really browned off politics since the days of Hawke and Keating and then Howard was deposed, coz he was doing such a terrible job, huh.

Forest, I agree with your sentiments but I haven’t noticed you jumping in on these forums to defend Julia Gillard against any one of the vitriolic, peurile and often incorrect postings about her. Unless you’re prepared to defend all sides of the political spectrum from personal attacks, your comments reveal you as biased and hollow.

OP = original post Oh, there I was looking for an Opinion Piece in the media somewhere which had inspired Mekat and Pom to write what they did. OP = Original Post. Got it.

Let he who is without sin cast the first aspersion.

Come to think of it, hypocritical would have been a better word to use.

Aaaahhh, politics….. always brings out the best in people.. Admit it you guys, both sides are fucked and nothing viable to replace them.
The key to success is to learn to do something right, then do it right every time. Oh I wish….. Now a two time winner of the treasured WBT. |

Come to think of it, hypocritical would have been a better word to use. Even better fighting words. Good luck persuading anybody that your insults make Mekat’s words less ridiculous or less intended to denigrate.

Aaaahhh, polotics….. always brings out the best in people.. Admit it you guys, both sides are fucked and nothing viable to replace them. Commish, that’s why I found Mekat’s words so ridiculous. There is just no point for an otherwise apparently intelligent person to write such things. Now we have an otherwise apparently intelligent person in Trickshot329 apparently agreeing with my sentiments but arguing (I think) that I should not express or am not entitled to express such sentiments. As for the political parties, the admission you seek is a cop out. A better approach is to keep voting out the duds until something better turns up. That, of course, is an issue for the voters and those who have power to choose the candidates who stand in each electorate.
