Played at Pelican Waters today in Pennants against Pacific Harbour. Nice course, but it wasn’t as tough as I remembered it. I must have gotten better since I last played it though. Needless to say, I was 1 up with 1 to play, and my ensuing bogey from front edge of the green cost me half a point. We got rolled 3.5 to 1.5.

Yeah, we both played OK in a see-sawing match. Young kid who hits it a mile. I was intimidated :-) I also realised I am the most negative prick of a Matchplayer ever. As soon as I go one down I think I will lose for sure.

Yeah that’s tough. I hate getting behind early. It makes it hard to keep hitting shots that are within your own game and not start going for the hail mary : ) As weety says; next time.
