With all the debate about organised religion today and its motives i find it interesting that whenever we stumble on a new tribe in the far reaches of South America or New Guinea or whatever they always have something that they worship. History shows that’s always the case. In spite of never having seen a white man or been touched by our influences they always have some higher power that they look to or worship. Interesting that every different strain of civilisation has that in common.

Well, if you die and cease to function, there’s nothing to ‘find out’. It’s a logical absurdity.

You’ll be interested to know that the constitution of the Trentham Golf Club says you cease to be a member when you die. Like it needed explanation. :-)

I understood what you were saying Publish and i agree. All i was stating initially was the certainty and finality of it.

I must read the constitution. That’s hilarious! Don’t want our illustrious treasurer chasing me for outstanding fees. The wife would be impressed. Even in death my golf still finding a way to annoy her! :-)

Your body, your life force is energy. Energy cannot dissapear check your basic physics, it always converts into a different type of energy. Who is to say that energy cannot have a consciensness and be aware?

There was a great story bout this on 60 minutes last night. I feel you just have to view this with an open mind, your either a non believer or a believer. I am the latter

It wasn’t scary seeing myself. It was peaceful – I love living but I dont fear death.

Re the OP question. Either of 1. body buried & eventually the worms end up having a meal; or 2. body cremated & some grieving relative has bright idea that your ‘spirit’ would like to swim with dolphins & decides to tip throw ashes in ocean, resulting in ashes being blown back all over them …

Tip: live it up now. None of us are getting out of this alive. :)
