Well, another round at the ‘bat last night. 93, with 8 bogeys, 4 pars, 1 birdie. Also 2 doubles, 2 triples (and a quad – hit one OOB).

Would have been 39 points, with 2 wipes. Yes – one of the triples I got 2 shots on.

Putter working well last night – reckon I’ve got my mojo back on that one. Which sounds like it might be required for WV. Trust the read, hit the putt.

Played the par 3s really well yesterday – 3 pars, 1 bogey. On the 5th, 160m downhill, so a 5 iron to just off the green (it’s downhill – I don’t hit a 5 iron that far on the flat), putted from off the green and ended up with a 4.

Parred the other 3 par 3s, with good tee shots to 8 and 12, and what I thought was a good tee shot into the wind on 16, that just made it over the dam. Chipped it to 2 feet.

Birdied the 14th with a high 9 iron that landed and stopped to 4 feet.

So all in all, not a bad weekend – albeit on 2 relatively short courses.

30 points – that is the target for WV.

I built this place for you Goldy, I tried to make it comfortable and to you liking. I did have a plumbing problem with the council, so yes, didn’t install a toilet, sorry.

Figured people could go out in the back yard for a piss, but forgot about the dumpster, Oz.

Let’s hope the observatory remains unscathed, it’s my favorite room, but nothing will survive that.

On that basis, and with your permission, I have sought to instigate a planting programme, with the view to having a 10 acre pine plantation to accommodate the bear when he visits.

One can only hope that 10 acres is enough.
