Being as though every one seems to be really interested in the
Music thread on this forum, I was wondering what really good live
shows you have seen, not concerts but stage shows. I took the kids to see 'Wizard of Oz' and although I think Nicki Webster is incredible for her age, the show was crap.

judge, I hope you are joking about Nicki Webster. I want to knock
her block off. She is the epitome of everything that annoys me
about kids and sickly pop music.

I've seen snippets of the Queen show on telly...it looks like it will be great even if your not a huge Queen fan.

Judge I think you need to go and see some independent / local /
amateur theatre to lessen your taste for Big Budget Blue Rinse
Stage Shows.

SC I just think she has done a wonderful job for someone so young but I agree I can't stand the music, just like the way she has achieved so much so young. Damo, I do a bit of work for a local theatre and keep meaning to get to one of their shows, have to make sure I get off my Lemonade and Sars and see on!

Best show we have seen was Phantom of the opera. Vietnam was a close second.

We went to the Francie Valli and the four seasons in Brissy, bloody top show that was. Also seen Mama Mia and Menopause the musical. Bloody funny as that was. Didn’t realise women could have so much fun once the big M hit

There are probably only about 3 or 4 that still visit that would know the answer to that question.

I can just imagine Francie doing a fine rendition of “Big Boys Don’t Cry” as a tribute to Barnesy.

Shows ? My God do not get me started, Mrs Iron is the arty farty type and I have been dragged along to more catastrophes than I care to remember. Top of the list would be Swan Lake, the blokes may as well be wearing nothing. Second on the list would be a recent amateur performance of Calender Girls, I thought it may be ok for a bit of a perve, but the women were all over 70 and got hit by every ugly stick on the way down, thankfully we left at half time. Sade, another monumental flop. Doing Agatha Christies Mousetrap at Brisbane soon, hoping it’s the London cast. Some Russian Play in Sydney featuring Hugo Weaving that doesn’t bear remembering. Puppetry of the Penis was fairly entertaining in London. Have a fond memory of Abba ripoff band Mumma Mia at Jupiters Casino, the second half one of the chicks came out wearing black lycra shorts with one of the finest camel toes I have ever seen, mesmerizing.
The greatest game ever played. |

Mama Mia was a good night out. The best of all…Lion King. For a non musical although they did sing a bit.
LOFT. the real reason why my handicap is where it is! |

Steaming was the stage show to see for a perve, luckily Gwen Plumb left her kit on.
