Macgregor Forged M685 irons

Well the MP32s are here to stay so im gunna off load the Macs. The irons have rifle flighted 5.5 shafts in them and are 1/2” longer. Clubs have golf pride multi decade grips on them which are really good. They are half cord i guess and look nice.

The clubs have been played by me for about 12 months and are in pretty good nick. They are forged irons which means they can ding up abit if a rock or something is hit. A few of the irons have minor marks on the face and the 8 iron has a small mark on the bottom flange.

These are a nice set of sticks. They are not as hardcore as a full on players cavity, but are very workable and the feel is great. I would compare them in shape, size and offset to a titleist AP2 (not the AP1 choppers club). They are suited to players from about 18 – 0 i would say.

After about $270 and il post them for a decent price. If anyone is keen shoot me an email to

snedden9485@hotmail.com

I can take pics if reqd.

250 posted. Cheap price for good sticks guys.

$220 plus post. Come on, someone?

Have to give them away.I had Mac 455 forged excellent clubs upgraded and couldn’t say anything but good things about them.strange they don’t seem popular with ordinary golfers.Someone should take these bargain.

No matter how bad your game it is always possible to get better or worse

Yeah i dont know why Muggins. They are good clubs and Greg Norman put his name to them, so i cant see why they arent more popular.

Hi Chris

I saw a post with someone looking for improvement clubs in classifieds and after doing a quick google on yours I saw that they are very forgiving and maybe suited to higher marker that you suggested! I passed on your post to them, so maybe they will follow up.

I am looking for some clubs for my wife who is just starting out and if these could be cut down was considering them myself, they sound like fabulous clubs and as the google search stated, they are meant to be extremely forgiving…

The difference between golf and the government is that in
golf you can't improve your lie!

Yeah they are fairly forgiving for forged irons. Obviously not as forgiving as something like a big bertha. The clubs dont have a big offset, just a small one. They are very nice clubs though, they have a great feel when struck well. They give a very loud crack when struck well and the buttersoft feel is nice. Maybe not quite as butter soft as my mizuno blades, but still very nice. Anyway mate if your interested just let me know.

Cheers

Chris
