I have a sureshot GPS that is an unwanted gift. RRP is $550. will sell for $450. free postage.

It was bought a week ago from drummond golf. I still have receipt and box that i will send if you buy.

I took it out of the box and have had a look at it but it hasnt been used for a round of golf. i can’t justify having a GPS off a 16 handicap. i only hit 4 greens a round anyway.

I want to sell this and spend money on lessons. i am open to any offer.

no theres no fee for the use of the satelite.

if you want to download map courses from the database i think theres a fee. i will check. not 100% sure how much it is. i know the 1st year of the database is free. so you have 11 1/2 mths left on that.

if you map the courses yourself and play theres no charges at all.
u just walk the course and press a button at front of green, middle of green, back of green and any hazards eg water, bunkers, tree, layup position

then when u play it’ll tell you how far from those from where u are. you also enter your stats. fairways hit, GIR, putts, up & down, sand saves etc and you can analyse it.

the best feature i thought was that u could measure how far you hit each club and it will tell you what club you used last time.

theres nothing more frustrusting them hitting a great shot and its right in line of the pin and it comes up 1 club short/club long. this will really help eliminate those situations.

unfortunately my problem is not distance control its accuracy. i always hit it perfect distance and walk up and see my ball is pin high only 40 metres left/right of where i want to be. if thats you this wont help that at all.

how good are the lessons though? as they say if you find a good coach stick with them. i like Jason Laws from Newcastle Golf Club. Had one off lessons from a range staff on two occasions and they did more harm then good. Jason Laws is in the top 10 in australia and after having some lessons with him i can see why.
