Click on the user name next to the post, then you can view all posts…doesn’t seem to be in any order though.

Not presently, we’re giving the forums, and thus forum search a bit of love shortly. I’ll add this to the list.

A few of the other forum’s I frequent do have a more robust search facilty, and it does come in handy.

what would be really nice is a link for a listing of all forum topics that have posts since my last access as well.

There is a link to latest posts at the top of the forum posts. That should do it.

Hi Terrys;

If you are logged in the “latest post” link up the top should appear and the way i use this is to read what i want to read then click the “Mark all as read” button. That will clear out that page and only new posts will appear.

If you read a post and click the link up the top again it’ll be gone too.

I actually have the latest post link bookmarked in my firefox toolbar, saves me scrolling back up the top all the time. Hmm .. think that link needs to go down the bottom too.

Upon initial look, it wasn’t showing me what i wanted, which was a list of active topics. The list of individual replies just looked too daunting (perhaps i’m lazy) to trawl through.

I never got to the point where i could “mark as read”. If I can mark everything as read, it will probably be ok. i’ll go and experiment and see if it works for me.

Ok, I see where I was going wrong!

I was selecting Forum from the top bar, then hitting the new posts button which displays each individual post.

If I click the Latest Posts link from next to the forums drop down menu, it does what I want!

They are there, hidden away from users atm. As you know, the geek time at ISG has been taken up with other things for the past 9 months.

We’re slowly getting back to focusing on the main site and forums, believe us, we really want to. We love it and regret not being able to spend as much time as we want to lately.

That said, the PM system is really good. Tightly integrated into the site and should be a breeze to use.

You guys would pay quality over quantity, right? :)
