just wondering if ISG does any of these? It’d be nice, if people are interested, to have a “comp” at a bris or gc club where we donated something to charity? I’d be more than happy to give plenty of my own time to help organise, if anyones interested?

Gribbles – great idea – just a thought, you could approach a Rotary club to run one in conjunction with ISG (verify), they are usually looking for a way of raising charity $’s – many have golf days – my old club has a cystic fibrosis golf day every april at beerwah.

There are many businesses on the GC that would get involved, if only by playing. My boss might be interested in sponsoring something, he’s an avid golfer, played pennant for Burleigh…

Thanks boys sounds like a good start- For me it’d be cool to meet people from this site and play a good day, also to do something to help a charity out. I’m going to have a chat to the manager at my club and see whats what. will keep you updated.

Gribbles – Outstanding idea – how many are in Brisville area I wonder!? Maybe we could have a fun ambrose and a meal, round off the dollar charge. With the extra dollars and maybe a raffle for a nice prize we could hit on something that will grow for charity… looking forward to the update.

yeah ditty thats what i was hoping. To me it wouldn’t really matter what the prizes were- but ambrose would be a good idea. and I’m sure if we got enough interest we could sort out a course that would do us a deal. Would be a nice to help out a charity in isg’s name. plus most wives would happily let their husbands out for a round for charity :).

You can count me and a few mates in. Have not played Royal Pines and would love to give that a try.

I reckon we could get 50 odd people if we get the price right… Who knows ISG might through in a few prizes.

thats what i was thinking. i’ll make some calls during the week and try to gather some info. I’d be happy to pay up to $100 bucks to pay a class course if i know some of my coin will go to something worthwhile…
