Like to see a forum on new stuff and also what pro-ams are on around the states… also maybe a forum on coaches – like who’s happy with their lessons and who’s not getting their money’s worth… that’ll open a can of worms! oops!

Hi Ditty – We’re not going to go down the road of adding more forums. YOu just have to have a look at some overseas forums who just keep adding forums and more forums for less and less important topics.

New Stuff – Not sure what you mean there?
Pro-Ams – That goes in Golf Talk – happy for you to start a thread.
Coaches – Golf Talk or Instruction are the place for this – happy for you to start a thread.

Thanks for the feedback as always – it’s just that we’ve tried the many forum route of the years (have had a forum now for 7 years or so) and they don’t work for us.

I believe in keeping it simple with the forums too. If you have too many sub-forums, its really easy to miss posts. It also makes sure there is something new in the sub-forums all the time :)

Ditty, if you want to find out what Pro-Ams are around the various states, (guessing Australia), log onto to www.pga.org.au It will show you everything you need with regards to results, when, where etc.

You will only see talk about the new stuff that sponsors have available, regardless of whether it is any good or not.

Why not remove one – the Cashmore forum is a joke. They have spat the dummy yet your website is still giving them publicity. Just call it Golf Course Architecture and let the members talk about it, or remove it totally and users will channel through ‘Your Favourite Golf Course’.

I’m sorry but I have lost patience with people that take 3 months to respond to legit postings and then come out swinging.

It’s not about removing one – and yes that forum name will be changed very soon – it’s about not breaking down the forums in to a million pieces for a sub-forum topic that doesn’t deserve it’s own forum.

We get emails almost weekly about adding new forums – each of them different and each of them not big enough to require a different forum. If we had received enough feedback about any one particular forum idea – it would be up on the site now.

If it aint broke don,t fix it & it certainly aint broke!!!
