Surprisingly clean race so far but I thought the whole field would have to go to wets after Skaife, Tander and Murphy all had a cry over certain decisions.

Holden drivers must go to a whinging course.

Good win to Lowndsey, Whincup and to the Blue Oval. Now watch as Murphy blames Lowndes for his loss.

GO FORD!
Just very disappointed that they let holden into the sandwich to come 2nd….

your right franky,he already had a go at lowndes so youll probably read about it tomorrow.
go ford
ps murphys a wanker

Murphy has nothing to complain about. In fact he was probably lucky that the safety car at about the 127 lap mark came out when it did. Good win to Lowndes & Whincup. No tears from this direction.

A bad day on the golf course is better than no golf at all. :(

Certainly a bit of dissapointment from this Holden fan. Although if a Ford man was to win it I’m glad Lowndes was it.

3 in a row should be proof enough Leigh – time for a change mate ;-)

Go 888!

Ditty,

Nice try mate. lol. I’m too stubborn. haha

can someone explain to me the 10 second penalty applied to GT at the start.

I always thought that if u jump the start, u get a drive thru penalty.

I did find that strange…HRT very rarely get penalised so it comes as no surprise that they get a soft penalty.

Yeah I thought it was a drive through too…. pity another Holden didn’t split his exhaust on the line….

I love how his clutch ‘slipped’ and then came good…...he stuffed up and stalled it after he jumped. Skaife kissing the wall was excellent to watch and justice was really served.

Probably given by a NRL ref who thought it was Cam driving!

Good to see so many ford supporters on this site.

Go 888. and go Wincup for the series.

Ditty, Let it go mate, look forward to ‘09.

Wazza, I imagine there are plenty of Holden fans too but what can they say.

Regardless of who won , the cars that they race have little relevance to the cars which are available for the average person to buy. It’s hard to see how racing of this type actually improves the safety or reliability of every day drivers’ cars; unlike the early days of Bathurst . Back then , you could go into a showroom on Monday and buy something very similar the cars which had competed on Sunday.

I can understand tribalism when it comes to your football or soccer team. But I can’t fathom the tribalism associated with going along with your “Ford” or “Holden” flag and cheering for which multi-national car company wins.

Can someone please explain it?

In every Ford or Holden fan there is just a little bit of bogun Publish, now in Ford fans it is so small you can hardly notice it except on race day, class and style is all you can see at all other times. In the Holden fan you can hardly get near them for the stench of bogan on any given day. LMAO, I do hope that explains it.

There is more to this than race day, it goes on every day somewhere someplace, there are two fanatics arguing about whether the Ford V8 is better than the Holden V8…. every barbeq every bar, there will be someone arguing the case…..

I don’t need to argue that fact Cliff, the simple fact that Holden had to go to a new 6.2L 8 to better the output of an outdated 5.4L 8 says it all.

Its all about being a sports fan Publish . You pick your favourite & then back it all the way doesn,t matter wether it is Football ,Cricket ,Motor racing, Cycling or 2 flies crawling up the wall. You just have to get involved with the thing. And it is nice to be able to stick it to all the Holden fans after so many years of seeing Brocky clean up the Fords.
