i heard some rumbling about this over the last couple of days, a friend from melbourne emailed me the heads up….. does anyone know any more and what do you think? as you guys know i’m a rabid carlton fan, and i have to say i’m undecided on what I would think about this. I’d hate to lose Fev, but if Barry can stay composed he’s one of the toughest and best FF’s out there…. Vicar?

Carlton would never be stupid enough to do that. Sure Fev has his few problems off the field but is alot younger than Hall and regularly kicks alot more goals than him. Hall also plays centre half forward not full forward Gribbles

sorry, my mistake on hall’s position :) yeah vic, i don’t think carlton would either, but i’m curious. fevola is in a position to command a mega contract. Are they that much apart in age? I thought they were only a couple of years apart at most. To be honest, I want to see fev in the navy blue for his whole career, but stranger things have happened….

Hall has been umpired out of the game. I know he gives a few away, but never gets any 50/50 decision, as a supporter I now just don’t expect anything. If he gets a free it is a bonus. I would take Fev, he kicks more goals and take more marks inside 50m. Barry’s biggest problem most of the time is the delivery into the forward line, the second is that he leads to what seem to be the wrong spots at the wrong time. I watched the collingwood game last week. I you were the coach would you have moved Barry off Wakelin and put him in ruck or on ball to get him in game? Wakelinn has towelled him up a few times.
