Super 14 Final

What do you guys think about the Waratahs’ chance of knocking off the Crusaders next Saturday night?

Thank God – at last somebody has started a union thread.

Gotta give them their best chance ever.
Good back 3. Excellent halfback who could be a bolter for the Wallabies 9 shirt.
Palu is a wrecking ball – what a monster. With Elsom and Waugh they are an outstanding set of loosies.
Beale had a bad kicking game so time for a good one.
But the are against the winningest provincial team at home.

And the real winner is – Australia ! With the Crusaders coach Robbie Deans about to leave NZ to coach the Wallabies we are only going to get better. Kiwis are still SPEWING they let him go and kept Graham Henry.

With Burgess as a bolter for the Wallabies? I think he should be a certainty. In my opinion he has been the best Australian half back all year.

Well, they say you need to lose one to win one. So, maybe this is the year of the Waratahs. What you think about the coaching situation?

Will be a good game. Crusaders for me.
No brainer

"Serenity Now"

Kiwi – what can we expect in Christchurch on a Saturday night in June ? Rain, hail, sleet, or just fog so you can’t see the game ?

Chris Hickey will be a good replacement coach for McKenzie but the media are saying they still might keep McKenzie – either way the powers that be in NSW Rugby are halfwits and nincompoops.

I think if both teams play their best game the Crusaders win, it is rare for teams to play to their potential in finals, so it depends on who is down the best … if that make sense. Crusaders with experience and home ground will be too good

SJGC,

After watching Fox Sports this morning I saw a story on the coaching position. They said that people close to Chris Hickey have told him to stay away cause of all the crap going on behind the scenes. Also, apparently Jake White (former Springboks coach) is now a possible candidate.

Having watched both teams beat The Force at Subiaco at different times of the year the form thing is interesting. Crusaders only just won early in the year here. Blues killed us. Crusaders though are on form now and look mighty hard to beat at home. Love to see a blue win though just for a change at the top:)

Dissapointing result. Must say, speaking from my own refereeing experience/skills, there was a few decisions that baffled me.

Yes the Sarfrican ref (Joubert ?) pulled some rabbits from his hat for the benefit of the home crowd.
NSW did pretty well and took their chances, but you can’t win the game with only 40% of the ball.
Crusaders are experts at this stuff.
And the winner is ….. AUSTRALIA ! Go Robbie ! Go Robbie ! Beat the living shite outta those Blacks.

hahaha

I’m sure SLGC meant ” ALL BLACKS” in his last sentence.

Eek

Crusaders did it without finding top gear as the Wars’ did not allow them to find it. Refs did a good job. Cannot say there were not one or two scratched head efforts but have seen some shockers this year so well done to the whistle and flag men for a change:)

iseek, definitely agree with you on that though. After seeing some of the other performances earlier in the year, the ref were good on Saturday night.

SJGC, thats for sure. Can’t wait to see what Robbie can do with the Wallabies over the next few years.
