Whoever secures Judd will have paid the price that’s for sure. They’ll have to kiss goodbye a top draft pick and a gun or multiple young rising stars. That’s gonna hurt.

Hypothetical – West Coast say to Richmond, “All right we want Pick 2 plus Foley and Thursfield.”

Would Richmond come to the party? Not if I were in charge. Foley and Thursfield will potentially play another 200 games each. Jab to the head!

Although the draft is a bit hit and miss, are Richmond going to take the risk of giving up a Scott Gumbleton, Dale Thomas, Jarryd Roughhead, Luke Ball, Justin Koschitzke or the like? The science of identifying potential has improved to the point whereby all of these picks have gone on to make it in the Big Time. To give up a player of this calibre would be an upper cut that would send Richmond reeling.

As much as I hate to admit it Judd can really only end up at Carlton. Pick 3 is gone as is Fevola and an up and comer. Carlton will do the deed with visions of Judd, Murphy, Stevens, Carazzo, Gibbs and Cruiser running riot. They’ll work out who’s gonna kick their goals later. Well done Carlton you f#cking tanking bastards! How many No. 1 draft picks will it take to get you off the bottom you weak pricks!

i cant believe your putting Carazzo with those players. Carazzo is Better than Average at best.- hes no superstar. I think Stevens is done too.

Lets look at the Options

Carlton – No 3 draft pick, and Josh Kennedy? They won’t trade Fev – and West Coast don’t need another dickhead in the ranks. Unlikely. They are going to remain a rabble for a few more years yet. What is Fat Lance doing next year anyway? Star in the Lalor League?

Melbourne – Can they afford him? Can this list play finals next year?

Norf/Bullies – Nope

Richmond – Lose their best draft pick, and at least 2 youngsters. There is no way they would trade Foley. Is there? It is Richmond we are talking about

Collingwood – A No 15-18 draft pick, and maybe a Leon Davis and a youngster such as Ben Reid? Maybe. If Bucks retires, salary cap isn’t that much of an issue.

Bombers – no coach, an aging list, and a bunch of kids that are ok but not great. Lllllloyd and Lucas getting on, Fletch is past it, and they proved no Hird no hope this year.

Hawks – a big maybe. Could have the money, definately have the list. Who they offer up could be the key…
