All you Bomber fans have been a bit quiet lately so time to wake you all up. I saw them a couple of weeks ago play Hawthorn at Casey Fields and they were terrific.
Today I watched them against the Crows and that win against the
them by 5 goals shows we have the potential to play finals
again. Agree anybody?
No. They are still a bunch of poofters.
I won't book a September airfare just yet. You're right
about a bit of speed thru the middle, Wunderlich and Davey
especially good in this regard.
SHHHHH!!!, you'll wake the Collingwood supporters who'll tell you the draw has nothing to do with anything and this years is the fairest they've ever seen!!!
You DEFINITELY are not top 8 material, whoever you have on the park.
Long way to go but a promising start.
thats not what the text msg said Smails
Agree - they played well...better than I can say for a lot of other teams !!
Dead right Judge...but I just got a bit sick of reading about the
Tigers all over this Board so I couldnt help myself!!
We started well last year also.
if Lucas starts missing, do you think someone will teach him how to handpass?
From the essendonfc website- "An unselfish Lucas allowed the Bombers to extend their lead to 23 points. After winning the ball across half back Lucas marked 25m out from goal but he flipped a handball over the top to Lovett who streamed into an open goal." Next week he's going to try a right-footed dropkick.

Moe, that text i sent out was mainly to annoy Collingwood supporters, it worked a treat with a number of them!
i chose to ignore it, after all you guys did beat Sydney in Round
1 last year

So I've been reminded about 100 times today. I'm still surprised that no one has asked me today who kicked 5 goals in the 1990 grand final yet though, still, 12 hours to go, it'll happen...
who kicked 5 goals in the 1990 GF ...
Essendon
hmmm could be a different bomba squad this year good start fellas
you surprised me I tipped the lions
Who's gonna be at the ANZAC day match and what odds are you offering ? (I'm a cats supporter, but will be going with an Essendon mate and will be barracking, and I really hate to say this, for Collingwood just to be obnoxious to my mate !)
The Lions won. Essendon beat Adelaide
But good luck with your tips anyway, you seem to be right on top
of things...
2 for 2 Judge - not a bad start...how long since the Dons had two wins a row ?
Season 2004 sometime

I havent jumped back on this thread since last week (!!) but i went along yesterday and well... They looked good. They have now beaten two of last years top 4. Early days yet but if we can beat Carlton this week that will make 3 wins and we will only need to win 9 out of the last 19 to make the finals!! Geez its good to go along and see them win.
Its much better than being on the Tiggie Train.

The most pleasing aspect of Sundays game was that last year, we would have lost that game after Freo hit the front in the 3rd Quarter but we fought back well. McPhee seems to be back to somewhere near his best and some of the fringe players from last year, Ryder, Winderlich, Laycock, Monfries seem to have stepped up a little and the flow on effect to more established players has been the same. Mal Michael has been a huge boost as he has replaced Sean Wellman who we really missed last season. With Lloyd back in the forward line and the pressure off Lucas, we also have a potent attack. It's great to go to the footy again and think you're half a chance of winning!! Hopefully we can keep it up, Carlton have had the wood on us recently and to let one slip to them now would be a huge step backwards.

how good was the Leroy Jetta goal where he ignored Lloyd and
Hird, took another bounce and buried it.
