Guys,

Just thought I'd start a seperate thread for the afl.com Dream Team comp we've got going here so there is no confusion between the two.

Still 3 spots available in the league and we've only got 4 days to fill them.

http://afl1.virtualsports.c...

Private League Code is: 948650

It'll be great fun.

I'm in - Quicky's Chargers

That makes 14.

Only 2 more to go.

peanuts, I thought you said you were signing up?

Good Luck gentlemen!

Guys, I haven't looked in a couple of days, but there were still 2 spots left in this then.

If anyone is still keen, please go ahead and sign up.

I think there was still one spot left in the Herald Sun league as well.

someon just sign up a second team that they can't edit if nobody joins - we don't want randoms

just pick crappy players and it call it carlton - it can be called the 'bye week'

I like Moe's idea.

If no-one has filled the spots by close of business today, then I'll create a couple of easy beat teams when I get home from work.

If you pick a player in your backline and he happens to play forward and kick 10 goals, do you still get the points?

I'm guessing that would be right but would like some clarification.

Picking these dream teams is harder than I thought as half the players I don't even know who they are!

Yes they do Judge, but Bolton won't kick 10 goals anyway!

I picked my team in the Herald Sun one a few weeks ago, and 5 of them didn't get named in their team for round.1. tongue.gif Had to do some serious editing.

Judge,

Yes thats right - thats why if a bloke that is a midfielder/small forward always pick him on your side as a forward to save midfield spots for the big guns.

This year there aren't so many guys who play both, but back in the day you could pick up MacPharlin, Bradshaw and Lucas in the backline wink.gif

Adam Hunter is the only good one these days.

In the AFL comp, Koschintze (??) is in both the back and forward lines

yep - so pick him as a back would be my advice.

I've filled the 16th spot with a team named "schismatic".

Clipped...

Hey Judge, You didn't injure Justin Koschitzke when you typed his name in did you?

Beware of cheap imitations - Especially from the US

Jarryd Roughead and Corey Jones are also included as backs in that competition. They would seem to be as likely as Hunter to go forward.

there are quite a few that go forward and back, but I'm talking about big names that are likely to score well - not random utility players wink.gif

Boonie, I have to admit I know SFA about young up and coming players unless they are at Bomberland so having a punt on these youngsters is better than trying to pluck one from another club.

The secret to any fantasy game is to have all your players playing (if possible). Jetta will score more fantasy points than Nathan Buckley will this week.

The server for the dream team has frozen...

I need to trade!!
