Should Nathan Bracken be allowed to represent our country wearing a girls hair band?

as long as he performs

That's Watson - not Bracken.

That's actually a sun suit that his Mum makes him put on before he goes out in the sun.

No worse than Bobo the Clown (Symonds)

I dont care what they are he looks like the green wiggle!

If my hair was getting done by Nathan's hairdresser and I was getting the same overall services from her instead of him, I'd be wearing it any way she wants.

no its wrong for him to. Seriously thsi new age metrosexual guy thing should end soon. Its a disgrace that guys are becoming more girly

No he should concentrate on Australian Idol

now come on how many people had long hair when they where young I grew up in the seventies and had hair down to my ass, but never wore a hair band or put it in a pony tail tuck in inside shirt if too much of a pain.

Bracken is an under rated bowler who should get more of a go

Yes just like Shane Watson – ha hasn’t been given enough go’s by the selectors now has he.

Shane watson is a very different story cause everytime he gets a chance he can’t handle the pressure and breaks down with injury bracken is a more energetic bowler he should replace clarke in the test team yeah he may have a good average but he is boring to watch another glenn mcgrath

That’s what the selectors want – another line and length bowler to hold up one end of the new ball while Bing Lee goes nuts atht eother end. And I’d have to say S.Clarke is doing a great job of what the selectors and coach are asking him to do.
ps another wonderful duck by Watson on the weekend vs Vic.

As an opening batsman I can tell you that there is value to a consistent line and length bowler (just cite McGraths career stats). They help build pressure and if they don’t take the wickets themselves, bowlers at the other end will take wickets on the back of their tight bowling and the pressure it created.

100% perfect is a sad neurotic state of mind. Better than yesterday is saner. - Dart, 2008.

LOL. if he cut his hippy hair he wouldnt need the headband. Still a good bowler though.

He should get it over with & go to the hairnet.laugh

Home on The Range

Excuse me but is there some sort of a dress code in cricket that forbids the use of a headband. More famous bowlers than Braken have worn them in the past P.S. I also had hair that long when I was young.Scary thought now. Hate looking at old photos

A bad day on the golf course is better than no golf at all. :(
