Don't know what has fired me up over this story. Poor old Mal had lost his heart and just can't seem to go on playing AFL. Maybe its the fact that the headline was just under the Sophie Delezio stroy that got me angry.
Michael has made himself available for this weekends game but doesn't know if he has the ticker to go on to complete his contract for the rest of the season.

What a weak prick...a prima donna..what other pissweak terms can I throw his way.

I think it might be in his nature.

He was unhappy living in melbourne when he was at Collingwood and wanted to get away. He mostly blamed the weather from what I can recall back then.

he's lost his heart and his passion - trade him to Carlton laugh.gif

At least to his credit he has announced that he can't give it 100% committment. Many would of kept quite and continued to take the money under false pretences.

Koutafidies, Whitnall, Stevens etc etc to name a few.

How's the fishin' Moe? laugh.gif

back to the twos mal.

current handicapp 18.4

You're a long time retired - so at 29 you would have to wonder why he's doing it ?

As FLC said - at least he's open about it...certainly he should at the very least - see out the season.

Poor bugger, sounds like woman trouble. Wonder if it really is true that he's wife wants to go back to Canada now that they have kids, and its why he's losing the passion to play??

At least he had some big ones to own up to not knowing what he wants, and if he has the passion to still play, there's a few guys out there that could be accused of teh smae but ont oo good a wicket to call it a day, just doing enough to get by.

Like I said...it was probably the fact this headline was just under the Sophie Delezio story.
She keeps getting bowled over by cars and keeps battling on and this gifted footy player doesnt have the ticker ro play a handful of games to honour a contract.
Guts of a mudcrab I tell ya !

I can see where golfer69 is comming from, i do feel for sophie she has more mental toughness than any afl player, maybe the two articles should not of been together, but on the other hand i can see how players can get a bit flat, they do play alot, but they also do put themselves in that situation.

the way the Lions have played recently, I'd have cracked the sads being a gun fullback in a team full of plonk plays.
