His public and personal personas are polar opposites (or so it seems). His sporting ability is admirable but he has polarised the sporting and non sporting community by his actions. I wonder if he had a different public persona would he be more popular ?

That would make you one of his “friends” then,I guess.So it seems to me that his handlers tell him he’s winning when he’s actually well behind on points and his friends tell him what a nice person he is when he’s actually the most unpleasant “sportsman”ever inflicted on the Aussie public.
