SAF and Guardiola had several meetings in New york, recently.
Shortly afterwards Guardiola signs for Bayern Munich, on a three year contract.
SAF will probably retire in two or three years.
This could leave Guardiola to sign for United.
I think it’s a done deal.

A Mata goal and a Lampard penalty was enough to get a 2-1 win v the gunners. when arsenal scored i thought its southampton all over again but we held on. Man u unlucky not to take 3 points from 3 point lane a 1-1 draw with tottenham Man u still hard to catch the best Chelsea can hope for is a champions league spot i think .

I am having the same train of thought…
And then SAF brings out the wow he caught me off guard by signing with Bayern Munich…....

What rot. Wasn’t the mourinho appointment a done deal? Or how about the Martin oneill deal when he was flavour of the month?

The biggest lesson I ever learned was, not, whether it works or not, but, if it makes mechanical sense, do it ‘till it does work.

The day of smoke and mirrors is gone. Gimmicks are gone. Fundamentals have nothing to do with trial and error

If no Champions League spot, the “Most Managers in a Season” trophy will presumably remain at The Bridge for the upteenth straight year. Another loss at home should see Rafa on his bike.

Any posting here receives a similar “what rot”, from you
I am expressing my opinion from gossip and heresay and the odd fact.
I don’t remember O’neil being “a done deal”
I don’t remember thinking any deal being done around Mourinho.

The armchair yanited fans think their next manager will be whoever is perceived as the best in the world at that moment. We’ll see. The idea that guardiola is going to bayern to tread water whilst waiting for slur Alex to retire is laughable. Want believe you actually posted it, is your head really that far up your own backside?

Ahh yes we do deserve the best in the world to replace the best in the world..
Gee that does sound like my head is right up my backside, better get a new armchair, it is hard to see the top of the table from this little one.

Don’t want Quasimodo from barca, frank made that team, not him.
Would like moysey, another Scotsman ;)

After my time back home as a rangers fan, I could never settle on the leprechaun running my beloved man utd.
He’s pretty good though I reckon but…...nah, fuck him ! :D

I’ve tried seeing things from your point of view but I can’t get my head that far up my arse !!

Styles every time some one’s opinion is different to yours they receive some kind of abuse. This is getting very tiresome. As for plastic United fans, how many times do you get to Highbury, Emirates or where ever to watch Arsenal?
If the plastic refers to me, I know I live in Australia and I know it was a long time ago, but I can guarantee watching United play 95% of their home games and 20% of their away, live on the terraces, for 7 years, does not make me plastic.
When will you ever get over the insults such as manure, Yanited and so on. Grow up. Call us United at least, if you can’t be fucked to type the full title.

Nice work by Eden Hazard. If Chelsea has any morality ???? they would get rid of such a good role model.

Kid walks off holding his side but South Wales Police choose not to proceed. Seems a kicking is part and parcel of UK life. Glad I left there 51 years ago

Hazard was trying to kick the ball out from under the lad >why was he lying all over the ball anyway … plus the lad went into the Chelsea rooms and spoke with Hazard they shook hands end of story. As far as both parties are concerned its over. there was no violence intended. Next issue …................

Frank Lampard 200 Chelsea Goals.

“was trying to kick the ball out from under the lad”
“no violence intended”
yeah, right.
He was bending over the boy, trying to get the ball with his hands…and then kicked him.
Ballboys delaying opposition throw-ins (etc) is part of the deal that visiting teams must deal with.
Kicking an opponent will get a suitable retribution on the field (if not dealt with by the Ref).
The ballboy has no such protection.
Weak.
Cowardly.
Out of order.
Bully.
Uncalled for.
Deserved the red card.
Hope the FA takes it further.
A lot further.

VTTP #009

Haven’t seen the incident but I hope it was a genuine mistake as he’s such a great footballer, don’t want it to be wasted by adopting the Chelsea manner…

If he did it on purpose, he’s a dick no hope he cops a beating…

I’ve tried seeing things from your point of view but I can’t get my head that far up my arse !!

Was this incident in the arsenal game ?

Edit, Swansea…just watched it, he was teaching the lad a lesson for being a little prick but none the less, on camera, and in the position he’s in, you just don’t do that shit.
I was a kick to release the ball but a vigorous one and I am 99% sure the little scrote made the most of it too…

Very silly Eden, very silly.

I’ve tried seeing things from your point of view but I can’t get my head that far up my arse !!

For all those worried about the ball boy, he is in good spirits and looking forward to walking again one day…...

Once a year i go to the ems. I didn’t call you plastic, i said armchair which is what we all are, me included. Pep didn’t make the team at the camp nou, he inherited it and with it came arguably the greatest player in history. After 3 years in Germany you may not even want him.

Your request for me to type Manchester United Football Club every time loses its impact after one looks at your own username ;-)

Your opinion on who “might” be the next yanited manager is valid, what I object to is the conceited “i think its a done deal” at the end of it.

Whether you like my posts or find them tiresome bothers me not, just as long as you keep reading them eh?! ;-)

Said before that gladdy holer had inherited that side and all of its priceless charms.
Like a few defenders that look good when they’re playing with stars. When the stars go, the others look average….this is pep.

Acca you know i’m not a big Chelsea man but i have to back you on this one. Nothing in it and it since been brought to light the ball boy was the son of a Swansea director. “Hold up the play at any cost son and Santa will be VERY good to you this year”.

Move along people nothing to see here.

Disagree BTB4. Yet another petulant outburst by an overpaid sportsperson who had an indulgent upbringing. All he had to do was stand there with arms upraised and complain to the referee, time would be added and the kid made to look a fool (which he was).

The world of sport has to wake up and cap earnings to no more than a leading brain surgeon or transplant specialist. Who provides better benefit to society.
