That is true,Flusher, but to do what he has in tennis and golf it does put him above a good number of people in this country at least,apart from his personal tragedy’s.

Interesting comment FLUSHER saying he is a very ordinary golfer, I am sure he has done quite well in some Vardon Events – 11th on the order of merit for 2007and I think he might of made the cut in a couple of PGA events on the Aussie tour. Sounds like you are very jealous

I think Flusher caned him by 6 or 7 shots in the VIC PGA, and he (Flusher) obviously had a conflicting event on when the NSW PGA was held and could’nt make it to win that event.

I played with this guy a couple of months back and felt that he was just an ordinary player – solid – but ordinary !!

I stand by my comment that there are players just as good in club ranks that haven’t been afforded the same opportunity, thats all…

Golf’s pretty democratic that way:no-one has to pick you.
In what way is he infamous? He married someone he was in love with and she died from a condition from which she suffered prior to the wedding . What else are you referring to?
I’m surprised that he got through Q School but more power to him for that.NIck O’Hearn was something of a chopper early in his career but that doesn’t seem to have stopped him making a very tidy living as a pro golfer . How bad was David Graham early on? He struggled to break 80 when I first saw him,but he went on to achieve something that Greg Norman never could.

yeah good on him. ANyone who can go pro at two different sports is a champion in my opinion. From what iv heard, there is not many people who have been pros in 2 different sports! Ordinary golfer…..Compared to Tiger maybe…. but still a great golfer !

I dream of being an ‘ordinary’ golfer! Oh well, back to the swamp :)
