A job in golf

I was thinking of applying for a job in a golf store. Know what the requirements are? In the sites it mentions nothing about what level your golf game had to be at, but I thought possibly you might know. Thanks in advance

Hi Gun To my knowledge there would be no specific level required other than an interest in the game and, as is the case in any other retail outlet, a good presentation and good communication skills. If you are genuinely interested I would be treading the footpaths and knocking on doors to indicate to a potential employer your preparedness to get off your butt and do something about your desire to be involved. You never know who might have just laid someone off and you might just be Johnnie on the Spot. You will certainly not get a job by just staying home and wishing you had the job. Seeing someone being being proactive is one of the greatest incentives for an employer to take somebody on especially someone who they might want to employ as a front person. Some such store owners might wish their staff to have a level of PGA qualification but I’m willing to bet their are plenty of job opportunities out there to unqualified but smart operators.
