Hand Injuries

8 months ago I changed my grip which led to me injuring my hand. Which was diagnosed 6 months ago. I had pulled two tendons in the palm of my hand (the ones for the pinky and ring finger). After going to a physio -one suggested getting the grips on my clubs made bigger so there is less strain, which I have done. Is there something else that I could do to strengthen this area or need to do to lessen the chance of it recurring.
PS The grip change improved my game to where I won a couple of comps straight after.

I'm hitting the woods alright - I'm just having trouble getting out of them.

I had the same problem and increasing the grip size helped immensely and later softer grips completed the picture. Soft grips really helped me.
