Hi, most of us would know what loft our driver is. But how many of us know if the face is open or closed by how many degrees?
What got me interested was that the Cleveland 400T (tour model) has a 1 degree open face. My driver is 11 degree but I have no idea about the face angle. Ben, what is the std for nakashima drivers?

i dunno what taylor made ones are.
You can choose whatever you want! Smts are great because u can choose whether or not they are closed or open. same with big bangs etc.

Does anyone know what the 983k is?

my old TM 300 sits completely square and is 8.5° my current club, the mizuno MP-001 is 8.5° and it looks square but I'm not certain it is. May be slightly open.

1° open Thommo - hook proof (if you swing it properly)

i mujst be over compensating for the open clubface.
us pure ballstrikers prefer it square

Got the bridgestone J33R 8.5 Tour model. Sits dead square.

All of the TM TP models sit square - standard models are 1-2 deg closed and the R5 D is 3 deg closed Corbin, I've got a 983K in the garage and I don't think Titleist knows how it sits so what hope have any of us got...

There is no standard. They are available with open, square and closed faces. As said previously, thjis is the advantage of component heads. Many brands offer a choice. My Nak is 9.5° and square. Mick

Which NP1 driver? 380/420/442/460?
|
|
V205, I went with the 460CC. It doesn't sound as sweet as the 420 but I cannot complain about the results. It is the best driver I have used, marginally better ball flight than the old SMT 455.
