thanks maverick..

so basically freeze my right hip and not worry about flexibility..

left foot open and down throughout.

I saw the briliant groundforce video from zen.

I’m thinking I should endeavour to get the pressure in the right heel while staying centred, right hip frozen, going back.

And then left toe region pressure coming down..

I think this ties in with Razaars hips moving anti clockwise going back
while shoulders turn etc..that resistance etc..

dart no more low and slow..I’m hearing you :)

all the above sound good for me to now put it into practice?

still very concerned re flexibility and that feeling of being behind it,I’m sensing ill feel powerless and lunge at it to create power but ill do what you say, you’ve all forgotten more than I know :)

lessons, books, youtube, read some more, good instructors, read even more, worked on it,studied it,practised it,tweaked it,listened to people who know, and ..made it to scratch last week….an enjoyable road..

Yes, sir.

No more low and slow. Back, up and in simultaneously preferably done under control of the right forearm tracing the plane line.

On the ground shear forces, it’s more ball-of-the-foot oriented. The heel tries to go in a different direction and the result of the two is a cross-plane reaction direction, i.e. out to right field.
Same on the other side. Receipt of the pressure on the ball of the left foot countered by a force in a different direction on the heel resulting in a pelvis motion into the inside of the left hip socket.
No hip turning or sliding. Just ground forces pressures on the pelvis. And then, of course, the fastest moving component of the body is the shoulders.
That’s the Zenolink theory to explain the facts of the forces and make testable predictions about its use in practice.

Remember that during practice it matters not where the ball goes or even if there is a ball present. The only thing that matters is that the thing you’re practicing is actually happening.

guys if i dont move my right hip i cant get my left arm even as high as my right shoulder..only way would be to lift and cock the club straight away ???

Yes. You are not tracing the plane line (usually the target line) with the right forearm. You’re on too flat a plane in takeaway.
That’s consistent with a shoulder-turn-takeaway which is almost always too flat. Lay a dowel out behind the ball and one in front of the ball and trace that line both ways with the right forearm. The height of the hands while doing that is the steepness of the plane angle.

Back, up and in simultaneously. That moves the shoulders.
You can start back with a lagging club head. You don’t need to lift it right away, but pretty soon after startup.

Just get the plane angle steep enough, on a line up through just under the right armpit at address. That’s not steep but it’s certainly not flat. In fact it is the lowest of the shoulder-defined plane angles.

Most people start with the hands too low at takeaway because they don’t have a palm grip in the right hand. The forearm is not on plane with the shaft.
Moe Norman “I’m the only player in the world with a right hand palm grip.”
Move over, Moe.

You can do this inside without a ball and without a club anytime you like. Just use a mirror facing down the line from behind you.
Make a fist of the left hand and stick the thumb up. Grasp the thumb in the lifeline of the right palm. Look in the mirror and take the hands right up the imaginary line running from the ball up under the right armpit. Use the right forearm tracing the plane line to do this.
A right forearm takeaway. It feels straight up but it’s not really. Look in the mirror.

Super master class !!

It was an honor to attend.

I am glad I stuck around to hear that..

It is astounding to me what a good mind can do with good data and what a good mind can’t do with false information.

One piece of rubbish implanted in the mind can destroy a life.

It is like an adding machine with a jammed No.7. 2+2=11 that is 2+2+7=11. Crap ideas are always more complicated and weird.
