thanks maverick.. so basically freeze my right hip and not worry about flexibility.. left foot open and down throughout. I saw the briliant groundforce video from zen. I’m thinking I should endeavour to get the pressure in the right heel while staying centred, right hip frozen, going back. And then left toe region pressure coming down.. I think this ties in with Razaars hips moving anti clockwise going back dart no more low and slow..I’m hearing you :) all the above sound good for me to now put it into practice? still very concerned re flexibility and that feeling of being behind it,I’m sensing ill feel powerless and lunge at it to create power but ill do what you say, you’ve all forgotten more than I know :)

Yes, sir. No more low and slow. Back, up and in simultaneously preferably done under control of the right forearm tracing the plane line. On the ground shear forces, it’s more ball-of-the-foot oriented. The heel tries to go in a different direction and the result of the two is a cross-plane reaction direction, i.e. out to right field. Remember that during practice it matters not where the ball goes or even if there is a ball present. The only thing that matters is that the thing you’re practicing is actually happening.

Yes. You are not tracing the plane line (usually the target line) with the right forearm. You’re on too flat a plane in takeaway. Back, up and in simultaneously. That moves the shoulders. Just get the plane angle steep enough, on a line up through just under the right armpit at address. That’s not steep but it’s certainly not flat. In fact it is the lowest of the shoulder-defined plane angles. Most people start with the hands too low at takeaway because they don’t have a palm grip in the right hand. The forearm is not on plane with the shaft. You can do this inside without a ball and without a club anytime you like. Just use a mirror facing down the line from behind you.

Super master class !! It was an honor to attend. I am glad I stuck around to hear that.. It is astounding to me what a good mind can do with good data and what a good mind can’t do with false information. One piece of rubbish implanted in the mind can destroy a life. It is like an adding machine with a jammed No.7. 2+2=11 that is 2+2+7=11. Crap ideas are always more complicated and weird.
