I noted on the news tonight that Melb has had 4mm of rain this month. Brissy has had 700mm in the last day. Bundy down to Gold Coast. Sydney’s turn next. It will all miss us and our fairways will still be like concrete.

If it’s a simple case of a private individual’s self-aggrandizement to bolster his own ego then we see a few examples of that both on the forums and elsewhere on a daily basis…...it’s probably a little sad more than anything else and provides an insight into the individual’s personality demonstrative of the type of person you are dealing with. However, given that this individual is advertised and touted as the sole Australian representative of a company selling a product in the public domain it takes on a bigger meaning with possibly more serious implications. It could be taken to be misrepresentation to influence prospective customers who are under the impression that he is more qualified or experienced than he actually is…..that in fact, may be a deciding factor in some people’s decision to outlay the costs and take the product on. There are laws against such practices. If in fact his claims of participation in the European Tour have not been included in the company advertising, but merely stated on venues such as this forum…and hopefully not to prospective customers elsewhere…..then it probably stands and remains for what it is…..pure and simple self-aggrandizing bullshit. Very sad really, and an example by way of demonstrating the individual’s lack of integrity and questionable honesty.

Look , I don’t give a shit also. But , I’m with Hackpro , same as his fairdinkum review on Huntingdale. Don’t bullshit , just tell it as it is.

I think we should haul Brownman in front of the forum police. No reaso, just seemed like a good idea when I read it. Plus he had a set of hiro honma’s I wanted to buy. OldBogey, no wonder you guys can hit it so far, all that extra run you must get playing on concrete.

correct, there is a BIG difference between wanting to be a pro and filling out a entry for for tour school, and actually obtaining your card and making people believe that you are or were a professional golfer…. if you read the stuff scott used to write when he was the BIO name, you can see the changing of words, leaving out of key descriptive words, all in an effort to make the reader believe he is something that he is not….. I mean spending a few weeks in the states is great, but a few years on why change someone else’s articles and erase the word WEEKS and change it to MONTHS? It’s all to obtain more credibility through deception… and yes there are laws for this, especially if financial gain has been obtained through this lies and deception…. Its like applying for a job saying you have a degree, when in fact you do not have this degree…..

Simply put yes it does when Zen consistently puts into writing on here “Yeah it does depend, I got my card for Europe so in my eyes I made it. I’m not letting any one take that away from me. There’s many who have tried and failed.” As an answer to an argument implying that his knowledge is superior on this basis….......

it just makes you think what else is false or untrue also….. I wish he would just let us all know the year he “made it”, so I can make a public apology, eat my words and be proven wrong. Anyone see any reason why he would hide the year from us? what would one have t gain by doing that? you know a few of us have known the truth for a while about it all, I was quite happy to let it all be, but when a person comes on slinging this and that around at other members, then i knew it was enough…..

What Swinger has quoted are just some examples 2Putts and Zen has had many an opportunity to state the correct facts and correct the record and by doing so would have more than likely come out of the whole situation better than his current position. I am not knocking his road to recovery, what I do have a problem with is someone here who was part of the “specialist” team making claims that are just not true…....... particularly about his own history… Maybe if Zen honestly answered the questions put to him by HaCkPrO we could all move on….....

Not a bad average. I hit a drive 9m once. Its not a typo. If I remember correctly it was on the 3rd at Colonial in front of Sandy, Parbreaker and Gold Coast Golfer. Somehow I still parred the hole but it was easily the most pathetic shot of the day.

As I said the correct fact are in the public domain and not hard to find. I have nothing else to add to my original post, for mine always forgivable. I have moved on.

yep golf is like that….:) Ive never been long off the tee, i can nudge the odd 275-280mt drive every now and again, but also have some bad ones. If I get the ball 245-255mt in the fairway down there, I will take 14 of those a round….

I need to remind everyone that what you write in an online forum can be used against you if legal matters were ever to be put forward for defamation or slander. Some of the posts here are borderline but many are also reposts of other posts within the forum so have been allowed. Once the terms like liar or deceived starts getting thrown around you are stepping over the line. I’m not protecting anyone specific here actually trying to protect you all and myself for finding ourselves in a courtroom. I think the point has been made and it’s now time for the witchhunt to stop. If Zen wants to respond then his choice. If he doesn’t then his choice again, we just need to now move on and chat about something else more productive.

Back to op, ask hp part 1, now locked, i found the advice “to know where yr club face is at impact” a great reminder and then to suggest practicing cutting, duck hooking, shanking etc invaluable. – i dont get out much! But having spent all arvo practicing that i was thrilled to be able to drive straight, fade and draw more accurately. I now know i roll my wrists for all those unwanted shots, which ive now fixed. Sometimes you need to know how to break it to fix it and id never been actually told that before, rather avoid shanks, duck hooks at all costs. Ta

I’m with you Maggie. Learning what wrong is, by really going there, is a good thing. Don’t go to the limits, go WAY past them, and return to control. That’s what I reckon I really need to do too. Practice being really extreme, then learn to play with in that.

Seems to be what Hack is doing here of late, :)

wow. I thought you were having a crack in the other thread, I didn’t think you’d try it.
….. |

Okay Madam, I’ll admit it. I lied. And I intended to deceive. When I said the drive was 9m I am quite tall and take big steps. Maybe it was really 8m. Or even 7. Sorry. You got me. Shall I just leave now or do you believe in second chances?

The real question is hackpro qualified to give golf advice? Hackpro does not sound like he is AAA rated and does not seem to talk much about ground forces, kinetic links or TGM. Binge drinking, he seems suitably qualified to provide fantastic advice if that is your thing.
Play it as it lies, get on with it, its not life or death, its just a game! |
|
I like binge drinking. Or just drinking in general.

Hi Shanks, I’m going to have take responsibility on this one as I started the thread. HackPro was really just answering the question I posed. I have found his posts the ones I most understood. I just have never got my head around the concepts you mentioned, perhaps its part of the reason I am rubbish. Sorry for the trouble caused.

I’ve been doing that for 40 odd years of golfing (playing broken). Just can’t get the hang of ‘return to control’. I guess you have to have control in the first place to be able to return to it. I did hit a good shot once, I think it was in 1987.
