what are some techniques of setting up that give you better alignment.. eg/ the club at your feet etc.. thanks.

A PVC T- Peice gives ball position and alignment. Be careful using the front of your feet as a guide though as a flared foot will change the way it looks, heels work better. Also a mirror will help a lot to check hips and shoulders etc.

down and out…did ya get that?

probably look a little odd lugging all that gear around for 18 holes??

try standing behind ball, pick your target in the distance (tree etc) then pick a mark about 1 metre ahead of the ball on the same line. move to stand square with ball, line up club face with short mark and put feet into position from there, then smack the shite out of it.good luck

I got tired of lugging the other halfs full length dressing mirror around for 18 holes too! I was also suffering with squishy direction issues and I went with kings tip on picking a target in the distance and then tracing it back to about a metre in front of the ball then lining everything up to that. The advantage that I have is only having one eye I don’t get the visual interference of looking at things with 2 eyes which does change where things appear to be. Everyone has a dominent eye use that one to align to target then place all the other bits relative to that and then smack the crud out of it and swear a lot when the tip that you got from a web site doesn’t work.
