What’s with the bunkers on the range…or is that a hole?

No that’s the range – they use that for all practice. Practice greens are behind the players and the tour vans are to the left, Firestone South 1st hole is to the right about 500 metres

so when/how does a player practice their bunker shots without getting clonked on the head by players on the range?

They don’t practice their bunker shots there for this tournament – I would imagine it is used by the members in normal day to day use. There are bunkers behind the range near the putting green too

this is quality stuff! better than adam scott video. i prefer the still images than the videos just because you can see the swing better. you said you use the panasonic 3ccd camera for videos. i have that one and can never get it to shutter properly.

haha….. i wish i had asked for the tigerwoods swing chart my instructor had… lol least i would’ve remembered for sure! lol look at the compactness of the swing man.

Tiger’s swing does look more composed! The is little sign of the “ducking of his hesd ” at impact we saw at the British Open. He must have taken this swing into the tornament to have won so conviningly.

But would he be happy with the distance? That swing doesnt look like it would reach 300y.

And did anyone see stat of his driving distance at the WGC, if I remember correctly it was 335y. But I cant find it on the site anymore as I’m not sure where to look.

The club shaft appears to be steeper in pic 4 than at address. Is this an illusion caused by the camera angle, or genuine? Why would someone of his calibre do this? Does it have some benefits that aren’t available to lesser hackers?

Also, does his finish seem reminiscent of a fade to anyone…?

Yes it is steeper as v few people swing on an elbow or shaft plane.

isn’t tiger trying to keep it on the same plane angle??

is tiger really swinging steaper, looking at his video appears, that tiger is laying the club off. his hands and shaft look flat at the top.

Is it the camera angle or does Tiger set up slightly open?
