I find if I say something once, they get 40% of it. If I say it later they get 30% more and so on. No need to change the message, just wait for the comunication to improve.

Just a couple of quests please guys – be kind. Slowly wading thru tgm book. I recognise many of these fundamentals and know they were taught by aussie pros (and there wernt many) such as naismith and others during 40s and 50s as standard fare. Did hk mechanicise these theories or did he go on a parellel journey and arrive at the same location?

Hey Anton, what’s with the attack on TGM and Dart? Not cool or wanted here on my section. You can find value in TGM or not, this is your choice. This section is a place for question, answers, and debate as long as it doesn’t get hurtful or personal.

Just walk me though this please. Would it be correct to say…

Id really like to read a first ed because im sure all of the same fundamentals taught by pros at the time would be there eg flw, lag, swing planes, pivot, rhythm etc, the only differences would be the language!

I don’t know you, only the type.

It was aimed at anyone who does not accept responsibility. I have made the same mistake – bagging coaches, divorce, ratty kids. That is how I know so much about it. Sorry if I hit a nerve. Don’t get touchy – you think we all haven’t been there. It ’s called human error. Try to shake it off.

I paid my money failed and bad mouthed good people, went my own way and wasted 20 years. What I discovered they would have taught me in 3 years. Yes, it like playing a piano not buying a cup of coffee.

We don’t teach TGM. It is simply the most complete knowledge base – like a doctor who comes from a university. The book was written in 1969 with 7 reprints to explain misunderstandings to dummies. We might need another one for Manzella. The Laws that govern the golf swing have never changed and never will.

Ian Paul was named the best Pro to work for in Sydney. He was TGM trained. Glenn Knot, the present Pro at Pymble was my best trainee at Duntryleague Golf Club. So you are stuck with a well trained man.

I married a Pymble lady at the club in 1995. I had a wonderful time there and drop in sometimes to see how my trainee is going. He is doing very well.
