How to Play this Shot? - Tiger "Punch Draw"

Would be interested to hear the panel has to say on this shot. Seems lined up square to target, is this played with an open clubface in relation to target with a swing path that is inside out?

Beautiful flight – Not that I could recreate it…

Cheers.

All the gear I want yet lacking the skill I need.
Loving the masochism, Loving golf.

Goals for 2012:
1) Driver carry 240m @ 60% fairways
2) 7 GIR per round
3) <34 putts per round

He is lined up with the body open to the target and with the club head square to the target. He covers the ball with his chest and swings with the left hand covering the left hip pocket into the follow through (it is just a swing thought) to release the club from the inside. Download the PDF file explaining the new ball flight laws and D-plane for a description.
This is a favourite shot of Cam Smith who also hits draw stingers with the 3-iron and 3-wood using this technique with an open clubface. The hands have to move inside to stay ahead of the club head with shaft lean to keep the loft down through impact.

Totally ignorant about almost everything except golf.

Two Piece,
Tiger is hitting with a face slightly open to the target. The club path is slightly more inside to out than his club face. The face in relation to his club path is slightly close. They call this a push slice. Angle of attack comes into play although lets keep it simple for now.
Hope this makes sense.
All tiger does is trap it to flight it lower.
