There are plenty of great ones, but nothing makes me feel as excited as standing on the 7th tee at the National Old course. I’m sure I’m not the only one! Don’t cheat and list a top three!

Take your pick out of the following at NSWGC: 5th Sorry that’s four…..in no order…..and I’d add 15 & 16 there aswell.
|
|
I’d include 14 & 15 as back 2 backs over 13 & 14.

Wasn’t talking back to backs….just being greedy I was…..but agree with you that 14 & 15 are better.

Thats cheating Nikey! Narrow it down. They are all great holes, which one is your favourite? Surely someone will have to say 4 at Barnbougle…

enjoyed the 12th hole st johns couse at the heratige victoria followed by the 11th quarry hole at st johns hitting tover the water and you go to long ya straight into the quarry wall and ball could end up anywhere then suddenly ya climb to the heavens and kind of think if this path gets any steeper and higher we will be having beer with the good man upstairs to reach the summit of this hill to see the fairway below with the surronds of chirnside park in the distance just magical followed by 3rd hole par 5 at tasmania golf club

Moonah Links Open Course 18th hole Par 5 … 582m, and with only a dozen bunkers to navigate your way around. The best finishing hole I’ve played …... I just love it.

17th, St Andrews Beach.

It’s a great hole, not sure if it’s my favourite in Australia… might need more time to think on it. But here’s me taking on the 3rd at Narooma. Made par which I was quite happy with.

I can’t see how that could be well designed hole, seems lazy
Have you come here to play Jesus, with the leopards in your head |

Consultancy….if you’re not part of the solution, there’s big bucks to be made prolonging the problem. |

I agree that 18 at Moonah Links Open looks woeful, but that’s the great thing about golf courses and holes, everyone has a different take on it and no one’s take is wrong!

I could be wrong but Gaz may be having a lend…
There’s many a slip ’tween a cup and a lip. |

The hole lacks strategic merit, play left from the tee and then where for 2nd shot?
Play it as it lies, get on with it, its not life or death, its just a game! |

4th at Lost Farm. Having to aim out over the beach when the wind is from the north and hope it comes back enough is an excellent start to the round.

When I saw this thread I thought of this hole, bloody marvelous indeed. Other than that, the 1st at Royal Northcote is pretty special, love hitting off the fake grass.
